Well, this is our last blog of the year! It is scary to think how quickly the time has flown since September and how far we have all came! This week saw the school play finally be performed for everyone and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone that came and watched both the afternoon and evening performance, as we have put so much hard work into our singing, acting and rehearsing and were looking forward to finally showing it to everyone. This afternoon we are currently watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets as a reward, due to us putting so much hard work in. We chose this film as our class absolutely loved the Harry Potter novel, and therefore we would get to enjoy the rest of the series, as well as enjoy a relaxed Friday afternoon!
This morning, we have finally had our 2016 Sports Day! It was cancelled last time due to bad weather, and we were worried about it being bad again today, but we were extremely lucky. Sports Day was a success and ran really smoothly, and everyone had lots of fun. As soon as we finished and went inside, the heavens opened and it began to pour - so we timed it absolutely perfectly. I'm going to take credit for timing the rain today, weather it's my doing or not!
On Thursday, I had a very easy morning, as we had transition day, and unfortunately, I'm not moving to a class next Year! Our class however, moved up to Year 5 and spent the morning with Mrs Fitzroy and were able to show her just how fantastic they can work and behave. Some of us were very nervous and worried, however in the end it turned out okay, and the children realized that they are in more than safe hands with Mrs Fitzroy.
Tonight is the Year 6 sleepover, so that means that the teachers will be having approximately 0 hours sleep tonight...so if we're tired on Monday, we apologize in advance! Don't forget that Monday is the Wear it Wild day, AND the PTFA end of year party in the hall - so don't forget to bring all of your things and clothes!
Have a great weekend everyone,
